Sarah O'Brien Teacher
Sarah has always had a love and passion for dance, starting at the age of 2 at a local dance studio. Sarah has participated in many dance eisteddfods & festivals and annual Christmas concerts. She has completed Test 1 to Intermediate ATOD Classical Ballet examinations and has also had the opportunity to participate in the ATOD Energetiks Classical Ballet Scholarships Australasians to represent the state of Victoria on numerous occasions.
In 2017, Sarah moved to Melbourne to study full time training in the Classical Ballet Programme at The Jane Moore Academy of Ballet. The following year at just 17 years of age, Sarah was awarded a full scholarship to be a Ballet Trainee in New York City at the famous and world renowned Joffrey Ballet School and in early 2020 Sarah then joined the Jazz and Contemporary Program. Her time was cut short at Joffrey due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, but is delighted to be home and teach alongside Miss Bek at Destination Dance.
Keeva Svikart Teacher
Cert IV Dance Teaching and Management, Acrobatic Arts Certified
Miss Keeva is a local dancer and dance teacher. She studied at Kelly Aykers Full Time Dance and has since worked with directors BASS FAM Creative and Jillina Carlano of Bellydance Evolution. She is a versatile and experienced teacher dedicated to her students growth and continues her studies in culture, dance & music.

Rebekah Symons Owner / Principal
B.A. Primary Ed, Cert IV Dance Teaching and Management, Affil A.T.O.D, Acrobatic Arts Certified
Rebekah began dancing locally at the age of three training in all styles of dance. She has completed all ATOD Classical Ballet Examinations and Tap examinations from Gold Medal to Advanced Seal. Rebekah has also been involved in local theatre since she was 9 years of age both on stage and with Choreography
In 2015 Rebekah completed her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management with ADi training in the tap style but also has a passion for all styles of dance. In 2019 she completed a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Federation University and is currently a Performing Arts/Visual Arts Teacher at a local primary school.
Rebekah continues to train whilst teaching attending professional development workshops to further her training so her students receive the best training possible. Rebekah can't wait to see Destination Dance grow.
